DocuBay Disclaimer

This Disclaimer applies to your use of the DocuBay platform available via docubay.ae, hub.docubay.ae, and any related subdomains, applications, or services (collectively, the "Platform").

1. Platform Role Only (Facilitator)

DocuBay is a platform operator and service facilitator. We provide software tools and workflows (including dashboards, document vault, reminders, request tracking, communications, and payment facilitation) to help users access and manage services.

2. No Professional Advice by DocuBay

Unless expressly stated in writing, DocuBay does not provide professional advice or regulated professional services, including:

• Legal advice / legal representation
• Tax or accounting advice
• Banking or lending services
• Insurance brokerage or insurance advice
• Investment or financial advisory services

Any information provided by DocuBay (including on the Platform, via chat/WhatsApp, email, calls, or meetings) is for general informational and coordination purposes and should not be treated as professional advice.

2A. Communications via Messaging Channels Are Not Professional Advice

Messages exchanged through the DocuBay web chat widget, WhatsApp business number, or any other real-time communication channel offered by DocuBay are provided for general information, service navigation, and support purposes only. Statements made by DocuBay personnel or automated systems through these channels:

• (a) do not constitute legal, tax, accounting, immigration, banking, insurance, investment, or any other regulated professional advice;
• (b) are not a substitute for written confirmations issued through your authenticated DocuBay account;
• (c) do not bind DocuBay, any licensed third-party vendor, or any government authority;
• (d) do not guarantee any outcome, fee, timeline, eligibility determination, or service approval.

Where you require professional advice, a binding fee quotation, a regulatory determination, or confirmation of an application status, you must obtain such information through the appropriate channel: your authenticated DocuBay portal, a licensed professional, or the relevant government authority. You agree not to rely on messaging channel communications as the sole basis for any business, legal, regulatory, or financial decision.

3. Services Delivered by Licensed Third Parties

Many services available through the Platform are delivered by independent licensed third-party service providers under their own trade licenses and regulatory permissions ("Service Providers").

Where legal services are offered, such services are delivered by New Age Legal Consultancy FZE (Trade License No. 441697401) and/or other licensed legal providers engaged through the Platform, as applicable.

4. Third-Party Decisions, Outcomes, and No Guarantees

Many services depend on third-party authorities and institutions (including ministries, free zones, courts, embassies, banks, insurers, and other entities). As a result:

• Outcomes, approvals, and processing times are determined solely by third parties; and
• No outcome, approval, acceptance, appointment, or timeline is guaranteed, even where estimates are provided.

5. Accuracy of Client Information and Documents

You are responsible for ensuring that all information and documents you submit are accurate, complete, genuine, and authorised. Incorrect, incomplete, or inconsistent documentation may result in delays, rejections, penalties, or additional requirements from third parties.

DocuBay is not responsible for issues arising from inaccurate or unauthorised submissions.

8. External Links and Tools

The Platform may contain links to third-party sites or use third-party tools (for example: payment processors, analytics, messaging tools, or session recording tools where enabled).

DocuBay is not responsible for third-party services, and your use of such services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.

8A. Third-Party Messaging Platforms

DocuBay uses Bird.com (MessageBird B.V.) to operate its web chat widget and WhatsApp Business API integration, and Meta Platforms (WhatsApp LLC) to deliver WhatsApp messages. These providers operate their own infrastructure and are subject to their own terms and conditions.

DocuBay is not responsible for the availability, uptime, delivery guarantees, or data handling practices of these third-party messaging platforms beyond the contractual commitments we have secured from them. Service disruptions, message delivery failures, or policy changes by these providers are outside DocuBay's control, and DocuBay disclaims liability to the extent permitted by law for losses arising from terms imposed by these third parties.

Your use of WhatsApp to communicate with DocuBay is additionally subject to WhatsApp's own terms of service and privacy policy, which are independently maintained by Meta and available at whatsapp.com/legal.

9. Limitation of Reliance

You agree that you will not rely on the Platform or any statements by DocuBay as a substitute for obtaining independent professional advice appropriate to your situation.
